Michaniona, Thessaloniki Greece

Michaniona is a small Greek town full of charm. Fish is the treasure of New Michaniona, a small town about 32 km from Thessaloniki and home to one of the largest fishing fleets in Greece. The fish market is the centre of the fish trade and provides fish and seafood to all of Macedonia. The auction, of course, is not open to the public, but you can reward yourself with a coffee in the picturesque harbor, eat fresh fish or try the traditional donuts, enjoying the wonderful view of Olympus Mountain!
