Melendugno Italy

Melendugno is a wonderful town in Salento, in the Province of Lecce, with ancient origins and a picture-perfect coastline. This location wants for nothing for a perfect vacation in Salento between the sea, history, excellent local cuisine, and countless historical and scenic places of interest, ancient artifacts, and expanses of old olive groves. Melendugno also contains five hamlets to explore: Borgagne, Roca Vecchia, San Foca, Torre dell'Orso, and Torre Sant'Andrea. The territory has beautiful beaches: San Foca is rocky, has free areas, and is not too crowded, while Torre dell'Orso has rocks, stunning water, and both equipped facilities and free areas. The coast is sandier in Sant'Andrea. The town is also located in a convenient place from which to organize trips outside the town to explore Salento, near Lecce and Otranto.
