Corigliano d'Otranto (Χωριάνα, transliterated Choriàna or Koriàna in griko, Curiànu in the dialect of Salento, until 1862 called Corigliano) is an Italian town of 5.764 inhabitants of the province of Lecce in Puglia. Located in Salento, 24.9 km from the provincial capital, belongs to the historic region of the Grecìa Salentina, a linguistic island of nine municipalities in which the griko is spoken, an ancient idiom of Greek origin
