1-Experience a Cappadocia hot air balloon flight

One of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of Cappadocia’s moonscape is by flying over it. It’s expensive, It normally costs around $200, which includes a pickup, breakfast, the ride itself, champagne and a drop back to the hotel, but it’s worth it. Everything will look tiny, calm and attainable. The world feels like an easier place to live from up above. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!

2- Rose and Pigeon Valley

Rose Valley it’s the best valley in Cappadocia, especially when the sun is going down. Valleys in the Cappadocia area are great to hike through, from 2 to 10 kilometers, you won’t be bored as a hiker. Another way to explore the valley is by horse is. You can do a 1 or 2-hour sunset ride and hike up with the horses to a viewpoint to see the sun disappear. Pigeon Valley looks over Cappadocia and is home to what seems like the world’s population of pigeons making home within the chimneys.

3-Try the best Cappadocia food

-Pottery Kebab-  You can find this kebab almost everywhere in Turkey but the best is made in Cappadocia. It is a very simple dish if you have pot at home.
-Turkish Ravioli- Turkish Ravioli is smaller than the Italian ravioli. The dough is made almost the same, flour, eggs, yeast, etc.
-Aside- The easiest but sweetest dessert of Cappadocia; Aside! It is a very delicious combination of flour, water and grape molasses that are cooked slowly in a pan and my favorite; served hot!
-Gilaburu\-Guelder Rose-  it looks like a fruit but it does not taste like a fruit. It is not consumed fresh and not recommended to eat directly as well since excessive consumption may end up with vomiting or diarrhea.

4-Visit Goreme Open Air Museum

Goreme Open-Air Museum in the Goreme Valley only a 20-minute walk (1.5 km, 1 mile) from Goreme Town and a short ride (6.5 km, 4 miles) from Urgup. The Goreme Open Air Museum, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985, draws attention with its unique monuments in the world. Even if you’re not interested in history and museums, this one will blow your mind as it takes you into some of the oldest churches in the world.

5-Enjoy a Turkish Bath

Your first stop inside the Hamam is normally the sauna. There are traditional steam rooms as well as dry saunas. It softens the skin for the exfoliation phase of the Turkish bath. While Hamams are tied to Muslim cleaning rituals for the Turks (ancient and modern), they are essentially spas for tourists. It is one of the popular things to do in Cappadocia outside of riding in a hot air balloon or sleeping in a cave. There’s nothing better than the soothing effects of a Turkish bath after a full day of playing tourist.
